About PCHA-VA: A chapter of the Pediatric Congenital Heart Association, PCHA-VA is a nonprofit organization with the mission of improving the lives of those with congenital heart disease (CHD) and their families through direct support and education, meeting families where they are. We want CHD families and patients to feel equipped, supported, and empowered to advocate for their needs and to be confident in the quality of their care.Through social and educational events that connect CHD families, peer-to-peer support, advocacy efforts, and distributing educational materials and care packages, the Pediatric Congenital Heart Association of Virginia works directly with patients, families, and medical professionals to help Conquer CHD. PCHA-VA is entirely volunteer run and relies solely on community support.Learn more about PCHA-VA here: http://conqueringchd.org/virginia/.
